Certifications

SPLW operates under an Integrated Management System covering the supply of personal and collective protective equipment and the delivery of installation, dismantling and certification services.

Our work takes into account the relevance of all interested parties and is built on the following principles:

Integrated Management System Policy

Standards

Fall-arrest systems are designed according to the type of work and the characteristics of the site, with the goal of preventing the risk of falls from height or minimising their effects.

These systems must include a body-holding device and a connection to a secure point of anchorage. After a fall has been arrested, they must keep the user in an appropriate position, allowing them to wait safely for assistance.

Whenever work is carried out at heights of 2 metres or above, fall-protection measures must be put in place, namely guardrails, safety nets or personal fall-protection systems.
